Description:
High Strength Neoprene Rubber has a tensile strength of
1,500 PSI (lbs per sq inch). The high strength neoprene
is almost classified as a pure neoprene making it very
rugged and versatile. This rubber is very dense,
weighing more than conventional neoprene giving it
durability and an excellent recovery from compression.
1500 PSI
Application:
High strength neoprene is a very good choice for
gasketing between flanges with a high bolt load.
Used primarily
as a flange gasket, this material is so strong and
durable it doesn’t fail over thermal cycling and wet,
oily or abrasive environments. Neoprene Rubber is used for demanding
applications that involve tough rubber that has a high
resistance to tearing and a higher susceptibility to
corrosion.
